How we make money
ProjectGallery Local is free for homeowners. Businesses pay for bigger portfolios, labelled sponsored slots and the quote requests they receive.

Where the money comes from
| Product | Who pays | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Portfolio plans | Businesses | More projects, before-and-after pairs, analytics |
| Sponsored projects | Businesses | One project in a labelled slot outside the gallery |
| Quote requests | Businesses | A flat fee, only when a homeowner chooses to contact them |
What money can't buy
- A place in the gallery order.
- A higher spot in the business lists, which follow our published score.
- A pass on the permit match or the image rights check.
- Style tags. Editors assign them from the photos.
How you can tell
Anything paid for is labelled Sponsored and sits outside the gallery and the lists. Homeowners never pay, and we never sell your contact details: a quote request goes only to the businesses you tick.
Money questions
Can a business pay to show its projects first?
No. The gallery is ordered newest first by completion date, and payment never changes that order.
What does a sponsored project look like?
It carries a Sponsored label and sits outside the gallery and the business list.
Is asking for a quote free?
Yes, for homeowners. Some businesses pay us a flat fee for each request they receive.
